| The Make A Million Appeal |
The Make A Million Appeal, MAMA, is all about family and friends  pulling together. We are a group with a mission; to raise money for MAMA, a charity dedicated to raising funds for cancer related causes.
The reason that we do this is because we have watched our mums, sisters and friends battle cancer and want to do something to help. Started by Linda Green in 2007, the Make A Million Appeal has hosted over 2,000 people at events raising money for cancer charities. We have a simple aim – we want to raise £1million as soon as possible. Our dream is that one day we can fight this disease and ALWAYS win. In 2011, we are proud to support Willen and Overgate Hospices who are both celebrating their 30th anniversaries, and also Yorkshire Cancer.
